How to add the database into uBlock

Adding the filter list into uBlock Origin will help prevent visiting any of these scam videos or channels on youtube.

Step 1

Install uBlock Origin. Once installed, click the little extensions icon on the top right corner of the browser. Depending on what browser you are using, it will look a little different.

Next, click on the uBlock Origin icon. The uBlock Origin interface will show up.

Step 2

Click on the gear icon at the bottom right corner of the uBlock interface.

Navigate to the Filter Lists tab.

Then click on it.

Scroll all the way to the bottom.

Step 3

Find the section that says >Import..., then click on Import or the arrow next to it.

Then copy this URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Incrypters/YT-ScamDatabase/main/YT-Scam_URLs_FilterList.txt

Paste the URL into the text box that appears after clicking on Import or the arrow next to it.

Step 4

Click the blue, Apply Changes botton once you have pasted in the provided URL above.

You have successfully added the database as a filter list! You may close the extension tab now.
